본고는 전통적인 원혼담뿐만 아니라 무속적 해원 구조를 콘텐츠화하여 성공한 국내 제작 애니메이션 <신비아파트> 시리즈에 주목한 것이다. 본고에서는 <신비아파트> 시리즈에 반영된 무속적 해원구조가 애니메이션으로 콘텐츠화한 양상을 밝히고, 그 의미를 찾고자 하였다. <신비아파트>는 외화와 내화로 구성되어 있는데, 내화는 개별적인 해원굿을 콘텐츠화하였고, 외화는 이러한 내화를 실현시킬 수 있는 구조적 장치를 콘텐츠화하였다. 외화에서는 내화인 해원굿을 연행할 수 있도록 해원굿을 연행할 무당, 그 무당에게 영험함을 부여할 몸주신, 굿연행에 필요한 무구 등을 마련하였다. 내화는 외화에서 마련된 해원굿의 구조적 장치 위에 개별 원혼들을 해원시켜 승천시켜주는 해원굿과 같았다. <신비아파트> 시리즈의 무속적 해원구조의 콘텐츠화는 무속적 신관념을 통한 구조의 확장과 무속적 원혼 인식의 확장에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있었다. 먼저 사회적 문제로 죽은 원혼의 경우 무속신으로 좌정하기도 한다는 무속적 신관념은 원혼의 고스트피규어로의 전환으로 나타났다. 원혼이 고스트피규어로 전환됨으로서 해당 원혼은 개별 회차에서 퇴장하지 않고, 고스트볼을 통해 이후 서사에서도 지속적으로 소환되어 등장하였다. 고스트볼과 고스트피규어로 콘텐츠화한 무속적 신관념은 <신비아파트>의 개별 회차가 서로 긴밀하게 연결되면서 확장될 수 있게 하였다. 다음으로 해원구조에서 구현된 원혼은 우리 사회에서 소외된 존재였다는 점에서 공통점이 있었다. <신비아파트> 시리즈의 원혼 인식은 커다란 틀에서 한국 무속의 원혼 인식과 동일한 궤를 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 여기에 더해 한국 무속 원혼에서 중요하게 다루지 않았던 어린이의 원혼까지 <신비아파트> 시리즈에서 확대했다는 데에서 의미를 찾을 수 있다.

This study focused on the successful domestic animation < Sinbi Apartment > series by making content not only traditional ghosts but also shamanic liberation structures. The structure of shamanic liberation reflected in the < Sinbi Apartment > series was intended to reveal the content of animation and find its meaning. < Sinbi Apartment > consists of a large plot and many episodes. Each episode was made into individual liberation content, and large plots were made into a structural device that realizes individual episodes. In order to perform Haewongut, an episode, a shaman to perform Haewongut, a body god to give the shaman spiritual powers, and tools necessary for performing the ritual were prepared. The individual episodes are like Haewongut, which liberates individual ghosts and ascends them to heaven, based on the structural device of Haewongut prepared in a large plot. Contentization of the shamanic liberation structure of the < Sinbi Apartment > series could be found in the expansion of the structure through the shamanistic god concept and the expansion of the recognition of the shamanic spirit. First, the idea of a shamanic god, that souls who died due to social problems sometimes become shamanic gods, appeared as a conversion to a ghost figure. As the ghost was converted into a ghost figure, the ghost did not exit from individual episodes, but was continuously summoned and appeared in the subsequent narrative through the ghost ball. The concept of god, which was made into content with ghost balls and ghost figures, made each episode of < Sinbi Apartment > closely connected and expanded. Next, in the liberation structure, the common point is that the ghost was an alienated existence in our society. It could be confirmed that the recognition of ghosts in the < Sinbi Apartment > series is the same as that of Korean shamanism in a broad framework. In addition to this, the meaning can be found in the fact that the < Sinbi Apartment > series has expanded to the ghosts of children, which were not considered important in Korean shamanistic ghosts.
