본 논문은 박성룡의 시에 대한 연구 현황이 여전히 미진하다는 점에 주목하여 새로운 독해의 지점을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 기존의 연구들은 박성룡의 시에 나타난 ‘신서정’에 주목하여 ‘자연적 대상/세계에 대한 탐구’로서 시적 세계를 분석하였다. 반면, 본 논문에서는 박성룡이 ‘신서정’이라는 자신의 시적 태도를 정립하는 데 핵심적인 기제가 되는 ‘새로운 감각/시선’에 대해 주목할 필요가 있다고 판단하였다. 이에 ‘새로운 감각/시선’을 보여주는 초기시를 대상으로 라캉/지젝의 이론을 원용하여, 시선/응시의 교차와 시적 주체의 자기 인식, 내부/외부의 경계-대상 혹은 환상의 스크린, 현실 공간의 (재)구성과 실재계(와)의 만남에 대한 분석을 시도해 보였다. 이러한 새로운 독해 방법의 시도를 통해, 본 논문은 박성룡의 시 작품에 대한 다양한 분석이 가능하다는 점을 환기하고, 그의 시 세계에 대한 재조명의 필요성을 추동해 보이고자 하였다.

This paper attempted to find a new point of reading, noting that the studies on Park Seong-ryong's poetry are still insufficient. Existing studies have analyzed the poetic world as an 'exploration of natural objects/world', paying attention to “new lyricism” in his poetry. On the other hand, this paper judged that it is necessary to pay attention to the 'new sense/view', which is a key mechanism for him to establish the poetic attitude called “new lyricism”. Therefore, the early poetry showing 'new senses/view' was set as the subject of the study, and the following three aspects were analyzed using Lacan/Žižek's theory: 1) Intersection of eye/gaze and self-awareness of the poetic subject, 2) internal/external boundary-object or fantasy screen, and 3) (re)configuration of real space and encounter with the Real. As a result, it can be said that the attempt of this new reading method evoked the possibility of various analyses of Park Seong-ryong's poetry and drove the need for a re-examination of his poetry world.
