본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 지역사회 공동체의식 함양을 위한 수업방안 모색을 목적으로 실행되었다. 학교에서 공동체의식 교육을 실행하기 위해서는 교육과정 및 교과교육과의 연계와 교과 간 융합적 수업을 통해 그 효과성을 높일 수 있다. 따라서 교육과정과 연계한 교육을 위해서 교육과정 총론의 공동체역량에 대해 분석하고, 기존 사회과의 지역사회 관련 교육내용을 분석하였다. 또 국어교과의 문학 영역에 주목하여 학습자가 문학작품을 통해 다양한 공동체 구성원들의 삶을 이해하고 정서적 교류를 하며 공동체 문화발전에 기여하는 태도를 갖게 하고, 역할놀이 학습을 통해 공감적 이해와 참여적·체험적 학습이 가능한 수업방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 공동체 역량 요소를 포함하고 있는 실제 국어교과서 문학작품 「눈」을 활용하여 역할놀이 문학수업 모형을 제시함으로써 참여적 활동을 통해 더 효과적으로 강화될 수 있는 초등학생의 지역사회 공동체의식을 함양시키는 방안을 구체적으로 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 향후 실제 수업을 실행하고 개선방안 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

This study was carried out for the purpose of finding ways to cultivate a sense of community in elementary school students. Therefore, in order to link the consciousness of local community with the curriculum, implications and limitations were analyzed in relation to the community capacity of the curriculum and the community or community consciousness that can be dealt with in existing subjects. On the other hand, in the case of community and interpersonal relationship competency in the Korean language subject, it was aimed at cultivating a sense of community by recognizing the diversity of members and implementing respect, cooperation, relationship formation, and conflict resolution. Therefore, in this study, literature works in Korean language textbooks containing community and interpersonal relationship competency elements were targeted, emotional exchanges and experiences were supported through role-playing based on literary works, and reenactment and generalized discussion processes were conducted with manuscripts adapted to the local community. The aim was to foster a sense of community through This study is meaningful in that it suggests a role-playing literature class plan to cultivate a sense of community by using ‘Nun’, a work contained in Korean language textbooks.
