<긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 순조19년에 조만영의 딸이 세자빈으로 간택되어 입궐하는 과정이 기록되어 있는 국문필사본 자료로 현재 선문대학교 박재연 교수가 소장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자료의 내용과 특성을 고찰하여 그 자료적 가치를 재조명하고 그간 공개되지 않았던 원전의 판독문 전체를 수록함으로써 향후 관련 연구자들의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하고자 하였다. 조대비의 친정어머니 은진 송씨는 정보 제공자로서 가례의 정황에 대한 일련의 정보를 구술하였고 이는 <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>의 1차 자료가 되었으며 현전하는 <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 이를 바탕으로 작성되었을 것으로 추측된다. <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 일기라는 표제를 달고 있으나 날짜에 맞추어 순차적으로 기술된 일반적인 일기와는 다르다. 더욱이 초간택부터 친영과 조현례까지 공식 기록 날짜와 함께 여러 객관적 사실이 일치하지 않는다. 하지만 조대비의 입궐 과정을 일기 형식으로 기록하는 데에 목적을 두고 날짜를 기반으로 하여 순차적으로 기록하고 있다는 점에서 <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 특정한 사건 중심으로 하는 글쓰기 방식이 일기의 범주에 포함될 수 있음을 보여준다. <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 왕실 혼례 과정의 특정 용어를 일반 사가에서 사용하는 용어로 대체함으로써 왕실 혼례에 대한 사대부가의 인식을 드러낸다. 지금까지 알려져 있지 않은 왕실 혼례의 이면 뿐 아니라 본궁과 궁궐 내의 생활을 구체적으로 알 수 있는 내용이 있어 궁중 생활사 자료로서의 가치가 있다. <긔묘년됴대비입궐일긔>는 왕세자빈의 혼례와 관련하여 사대부가에서 생성된 유일한 한글 자료라는 점에서 문학사적 의의를 가진다.

< Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > is a record of the process of entering the palace after the daughter of Jo Man-yeong was chosen as the Crown Princess in the 19th year of King Sunjo. This material is a Korean manuscript and is in the possession of Professor Jae-yeon Park of Sunmoon University. In this paper, the content and characteristics of the data are reviewed and the value of the data is re-examined and the entire readings of the nuclear power plant, which have not been made public, are included. Because of this, it is intended to be used as basic data for related researchers in the future. As an informant, Jo's mother dictated a series of information about the circumstances of the family, this became the primary source of < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > and it is presumed that < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > was written based on this. < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > has the title of a diary but it is different from the usual diary format. Moreover, there is a discrepancy between the official date of record and several objective facts. But it is recorded based on the date with the purpose of recording the process of entering the palace in the form of a diary. In this respect, < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > shows that a writing style centered on a specific event can be included in the category of diary. < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > replaces specific terms in the royal wedding process with terms used by ordinary families, this shows the perception of the noble families of the royal wedding. < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > is valuable as a historical document of royal life as it provides detailed information about the main palace and life in the palace as well as the other side of the royal wedding. More than anything < Guimyonyeon-Dyodaebi-ibgwol-Ilgui > has literary historical significance in that it is the only Korean material produced by the royal family in relation to the wedding of Crown Princess.
