음택풍수에서 동기감응에 따른 길흉화복은 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 풍수가 비과학적이라는 비판속에서도 수천년을 이어온 것은 땅은 인재를 키운다는 지령인걸론에 대한 믿음이 강했기 때문이다. 그 중에서도 인간의 길흉화복과 음택풍수와의 인과관계를 밝히는 것은 고차원의 방정식을 푸는 것 같아 매우 난해한 문제다. 그에 대해 오랜 세월 많은 풍수인들이 다양한 방식으로 접근을 시도했지만 아직은 극히 개략적인 수준에 머물고 있다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 귀납적 접근을 시도해 보았다. 즉 인재를 많이 배출한 묘와 불리한 일이 많은 묘를 선별한 후 그곳들의 공통점을 역추적하는 방식으로 접근하였다. 그 결과 음택풍수의 지형조건을 충족시키는 묘는 후손 중에서 인재를 많이 배출하고 있으나, 조건이 미흡한 곳에서는 불리한 일이 많은 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 사실은 프랙탈(Fractal)이론으로 설명이 가능하였다. 따라서 유사한 지형조건에서 재현성을 갖는 풍수의 길흉화복론은 타당성 있다.

In grave geomancy, tomb Fengshui, the fortunes related to synchronous induction has a very important meaning. Fengshui, geomancy, has lasted for several thousand years in spite of criticism for its being non-scientific, which is due to the strong belief that good land gives birth to a good figure. Among other things, making clear the causal relationship between human fortunes and grave geomancy is a very knotty problem like solving the higher-order equation. Many Feng-Shui specialists have attempted to make an approach to it in various ways for a long time but it still remains at an extremely rough level. For this reason, this study attempts to make an inductive approach to it. That is, an attempt is made to make an approach to it in a method of selecting the location of the graves giving birth to many talented persons and that of the graves giving birth to unauspicious things and making a back tracking of the commonality between the graves. As a result, the graves meeting the topographical conditions of grave geomancy have given birth to many talented persons and the graves poorly meeting them have caused unauspicious things. The Fractal theory can explain this fact. Accordingly, the theory of geomancy-induced fortunes is valid in that the similar topographical conditions have reproducibility.
