본 연구는 우울 및 불안과 청소년 자살사고의 관계에서 인터넷중독 위험성의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 13년차 가구용데이터와 아동부가조사 자료를 사용하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 22.0을 활용하여 회귀분석과 매개분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우울 및 불안과 인터넷중독 위험성이 청소년의 자살사고에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 우울 및 불안과 청소년 자살사고 간의 관계에서 인터넷중독 위험성의 부분매개효과를 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 청소년 자살사고예방적 접근을 위한 실천적 방향을 제시하고 향후 후속연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

This study is to verify the mediating effects of the Internet addiction risk in the relationship between depression and anxiety and adolescent suicidal thoughts. The 13-year household data of the Korea Welfare Panel and data from the children’s supplementary survey were used. It was performed regression analysis and mediation analysis using SPSS 22.0. First, it was found that depression and anxiety and the risk of Internet addiction have a significant effect on suicidal ideation among adolescents. Second, the partial mediating effect of the risk of Internet addiction was confirmed in the relationship between depression and anxiety and suicidal ideation among adolescents. Through these results, a practical direction for an adolescent suicide prevention approach was suggested, and the need for future follow-up studies was suggested.
