본 연구는 피아노 앙상블의 발전을 도모하고자 한국 작곡가 강순미의 <네 손을 위한 네 개의 노래>를 분석하고 이에 대한 피아노 교수학적 제언을 하였다. 2012년 작곡되어 2013년 초연된 이 작품은 1 피아노 4 핸즈 피아노 듀오를 위한 모음곡으로 ‘과수원길’, ‘섬집아기’, ‘Undecided’, ‘창부타령’으로 구성되어있다. 두 곡의 동요, 한 곡의 재즈, 한 곡의 한국 민요를 바탕으로 한 이 작품을 공부하는 과정에서, 학생들은 다음의 다섯 가지를 학습할 수 있다. 첫째, 로테이션, 레가토, 꾸밈음, 보이싱 등의 피아노 기법, 둘째, 찰스톤 리듬을 이용한 재즈와 한국 전통 장단을 통한 리듬감 및 박자감, 셋째, 선율에 대한 유려한 연주와 이에 대한 반주형들이 만들어내는 음향적 효과, 다이내믹 등을 통한 음악적 표현, 넷째, 원곡에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 다양한 양식에 대한 경험, 마지막으로 피아노 앙상블이 가지는 여러 교육적 효과들을 배울 수 있다. 이 연구가 피아노 앙상블 장르의 발전에 조금이나마 기여하기를 기대한다.

In order to promote the development of the piano ensemble, this study analyzed < For Songs for Four Hands > by Korean composer Soonmee Khang and made piano pedagogical suggestions on it. Composed in 2012 and premiered in 2013, this piece is a suite for one piano four hands based on two children’s songs, one jazz standard, and one Korean folk song. When studying this composition, students may learn the followings: first, piano techniques such as rotation, legato, ornaments, voicing; second, sense of rhythm and beat through Charleston rhythm and Jangdan, which is Korean traditional rhythmic cycle; third, musical expression by playing the melody lyrically and accompanying figures that creates certain sound effects, as well as dynamic expressions; fourth various musical styles by understanding the original songs; and last, educational benefits of piano ensemble. It is expected that this study would contribute to the development of the piano ensemble genre.
