본 논문은 연구자가 박사과정 수업을 통해 게슈탈트치료에 대한 이론적 탐구와 더불어 수퍼비전을 받으며 진행한 개인상담 사례를 분석한 것이다. 본 사례 연구를 위해 내담자의 동의를 얻었으며, 모든 축어록과 논문 내용에서 내담자의 정보는 비공개로 기술하였다. 내담자의 주호소 문제는 엄마의 집착적이고 비이성적인 행동으로 인해 일상생활이 어렵다는 것이었고 상담주제는 엄마와의 경계 혼란이었다. 본 사례에서는 게슈탈트치료 이론이 실제 상담과정에 어떻게 적용되어 가는지를 네 가지 주요 이론적 토대를 중심으로 분석하고자 하였다. 즉, 게슈탈트치료의 이론적 토대인 현상학적 접근, 장이론적 접근, 대화적 접근, 실험적 접근을 적용하였으며 네 가지의 이론적 접근이 각 회기의 지금-여기에서 어떻게 적용되고 있는지를 연구하였다. 또한 내담자가 치료 과정에서 드러내는 지금-여기에서의 알아차림과 접촉의 현상학적 경험과 게슈탈트치료에서 추구하는 상담 목표가 사례 안에서 어떻게 실현되어 가는지 살펴보고자 하였다.

This article is a personal counseling case under supervision along with theoretical research about the Gestalt counseling, which has been learned during the classes of the doctor's course. For this study, how the theoretical basis of the Gestalt theory has been applied to the practical counseling process was explored while focusing on the four key approaches. Written consent of the client has been obtained and all the information concerning the client in all the records and in this article has been kept in private. The chief complaints of the client was the chaotic relationship with the client's mother who is obsessed and behaves unreasonably, in which the client has been difficult to live ordinary daily life, and the counseling theme the client brought was the boundary confusion with the client's mother. For this case study, phenomenological approach, field theory approach, dialogue approach, and experimental approach were applied based on the theory of Gestalt therapy.
