In this study, the questionnaire was revised and supplemented through a preliminary survey in order to understand the effect of the physical environment of the kitchen of the contracted industry foodservice on the job satisfaction and job involvement of the cooking employee, and a survey was conducted for cooking employee. First, comfort and convenience in the physical environment of the kitchen were shown to have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Second, spatiality and convenience in the physical environment of the kitchen were shown to have a positive effect on job involvement. In conclusion, comfort and convenience are necessary factors for job satisfaction among the physical environment of the kitchen, and spatiality and convenience are essential for job involvement. In the future, contracted industry foodservices should make efforts to create a kitchen room based on research results when rebuilding or remodeling in the kitchen so that the cooking employee can achieve job satisfaction and job involvement.
