본 연구의 목표는 두 가지로 나눌 수 있다. 우선 텍스트의 의미 파악이 텍스트 의미결정에서 기반이 되는 요소들과 무관하다는 사실을 확인하는 일이다. 다음으로 텍스트가 상호텍스트성으로 인해 그 자체로 의미생성의 장소가 된다는 사실을 밝히는 데 있다. 본 논문은 텍스트의 개념 규정으로부터 논의를 시작하였다. 의미작용은 기호학에서 이제 기표와 기의의 관계와 함께, 텍스트 자체의 의미 문제로 확대 발전되어 가고 있다. 이때 텍스트는 선형적인 정보를 담은 실체가 아니라, 의미작용의 대상으로 추상화된다. 이러한 양상을 파악하기 위해 본 논문은 브리콜라주, 아우라, 저자의 개념들을 텍스트 의미의 기원과 연결하여 논의하였다. 마지막으로 상호텍스트성을 텍스트의 기원과 관련하여 연구하였다. 상호텍스트성은 텍스트가 다른 여러 텍스트들의 영향을 받아 구성되었다는 것을 전제로 한다. 이 상호텍스트성은 텍스트가 품고 있는 수많은 인용의 출처를 밝히는 일과 관계되지 않는다. 이 텍스트의 성격은 텍스트로서의 주체와 텍스트의 만남, 즉 독서행위의 생산성을 증명하는 데 활용된다. 텍스트는 그 의미를 결정하는 데 개입했던 다양한 기원들과 멀어짐으로써 의미생성의 장이 된다.

The aim of this study is to confirm the fact that it is irrelevant to the elements-history, author, aura, etc.-thought to be the origin of the textual sense in determining the sense of the text, and to reveal that the text becomes a generative place of sense due to its nature such as intertextuality. This study started with defining the concept of text. In semiotics, the signification has expanded from the relationship between signifier and signified to a problem of text and its sense. At this time, the text is abstracted not as a substance containing linear information, but as a whole object of signification. This concept of text encompasses all forms of work of art. This paper deals with the problem of the origin of texts related to sense of text. To this end, the concepts of bricolage, aura, and author were discussed in connection with the origin of the sense of the text. Finally, intertextuality was studied in relation to the origin of the text. Intertextuality presupposes that the text is structured under the influence of several other texts. This intertextuality has nothing to do with revealing the sources of the numerous citations the text holds. The character of this text is used to prove the productivity of reading, that is, the encounter between the subject as a text and the text. Text becomes a generative field of sense by moving away from its origin.
