This study aims at a positive exploration of the existential investigation of the anonymous body and anonymous space through online dance education. As for the research method, an approach was made through structuralist semiotic analysis. First, from a phenomenological perspective, its existential value has been discussed in that anonymity would be the ground for the conversion of the bodily experience to a materialized substance. Second, in online dance education, the enjoyment of anonymous space could be described through the exposure of one’s information and the power of spatial decision. Third, it was found that as a characteristic of online space as play, spatiality was connected to the spatiality of play. Although this study did not deal with substantive applicability to dance education, “anonymity” was dealt with as a demonstration of physical education virtualized in a technological environment.
