A17075-T6 bar specimens were treated by the shot peening to improve surface mechanical properties. We prepared three kinds of unpeened, 21nVs and 35m/s peened specimens and then hardness and tensile tests were carried out at room temperature, 1001C and 2001；. The effect of shot peening on surface hardness and tensile strength were investigated according to temperature. The surface hardness and tensile strength were getting higher by the shot peening, but the amounts of their increase were getting smaller as increasing temperature.
