본 연구는 청장년층을 대상으로 빈곤상태 변화유형에 따라 우울이 음주에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 한국복지패널 중 5차년(9-13차년) 자료에서 20-59세 6,001명을 대상으로 잠재계층성장분석과 패널회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 전체 청장년 집단에서 빈곤한 사람보다 빈곤하지 않은 사람이 음주문제가 더 많은 것으로 나타났으며 우울이 증가할수록 음주문제가 증가하였다. 둘째, 4개의 빈곤상태 변화유형집단 모두 우울이 음주문제 증가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과에 기초해 본 연구는 음주문제에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study examines the effects of depression on drinking problems by the type of change in poverty conditions among the blue-age generation. Using the Korea Welfare Panel(9-13th), this study analyses 6,001 people aged 20-59 by the potential class growth analysis and panel data analysis. First, the study finds that people who are not poor have more drinking problems than those who are poor in the blue-age generation and the drinking problems increase as depression increases. Second, in all four types of change in poverty conditions, depression is associated with drinking problems. Based on the results, this study suggests the practical implications for drinking problems.
