본 연구는 비대면 교육환경의 출현에 따라, ICT 기기를 활용한 한국어 교육 사례를 통해 ICT 기기의 활용 가능성과 그 한계를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국어 교육(한국문화교육)에서 미디어 플랫폼과 SNS 플랫폼을 활용한 교육과정을 Yin이 제시한 질적 사례 연구 방식으로 추적하였다. 연구결과, ‘플랫폼 구성과 연동’, ‘SNS 플랫폼 활용’, ‘ICT 기반 교육환경 보완’ 측면에서 크고 작은 과제를 남겼으나, ICT 기기를 활용한 교육과정 내내 교수자-학습자는 적극적으로 수업에 참여했음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 첫째, 교수-학습자 간의 SNS 활동이 사회문화이론에 근거한 구성주의 학습으로 이어졌고 둘째, ICT 기반 한국어 교육에서 SNS 플랫폼의 활용 가능성을 보여주었으며 셋째, SNS 플랫폼 활용 수업에서 교수자의 역할을 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to consider the possibilities and limitations of ICT-based education, while tracking the functions and roles of ICT-based education, which were used as an auxiliary method in Korean language education. To this end, this study examined the case of using a media platform and an SNS platform in a Korean cultural education class. Instructors and learners accomplished big and small tasks through ‘platform composition and interworking’, ‘utilization of SNS platform’, and ‘ICT-based educational environment.’ Through these processes, learners engaged in self-directed learning. This study will first describe, from a sociocultural perspective, how SNS activities between professors and learners led to constructivism learning. Second, the paper will discuss the possibilities of using the SNS platforms in ICT-based Korean language education. Finally the paper will make recommendations for the role of the instructors in the use of SNS platforms in instruction. Since this study is limited in its generalizabity as a case study, it is suggested that follow-up studies are conducted through quantitative methods.
