본 연구는 2018년 세계마술올림픽 부산개최를 함에 있어 수요예측의 오류를 줄이고자 기본적으로 설문지 비활용 방식과 설문지 활용방식 2가지로 기본 축으로 총 4가지(간접추계방식, 관람의사율, 그루버지수, 자기확신지수) 분석방법을 사용하였으며, 분석결과를 바탕으로 부산에서 개최되는 세계마술올림픽에 대한 수요예측 결과 및 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였으며, 분석결과 부산에서 개최되는 세계마술올림픽의 관람객은 최소 208,060명에서 최대 362,430명의 범위의 수요예측결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 부산시민 및 관광객 그리고 세계마술올림픽 관계자 및 사전등록자 대상으로 수요예측 결과는 관람의사율적용방식을 제외하고 최종적으로 최소 208,060명에서 최대 362,430명의 범위로 수요예측결과를 도출하였다. 총 지출액 추정한 결과 총지출액은 최소 294억 원, 최대 411억 원으로 나타났으며, 발생시킨 총생산파급효과는 최소 530억 원에서 최대 742억 원, 총부가가치파급효과는 최소 215억 원에서 최대 301억 원, 총 취업파급효과는 최소 488명에서 최대 683명으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 성공적인 세계마술올림픽 개최를 위한 수요예측을 통한 관람객 추정과 경제적 파급효과 분석을 통해 부산 지역의 관광 및 부대시설 개선 등의 사업진행에 있어 중요한 근거로 활용될 것이며, 향후 지속적인 관리를 위한 기초자료로서 그 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

To minimize error of Demand Forecasting when it comes to the hosting of 2018 FISM in Busan, this study utilized a total of four kinds of analysis methods (indirect estimation method, willingness to watch, Gruber index, Self-confidence index) using two methods, survey questionnaire non-utilization method and survey questionnaire utilization method, as the two basic pillars. Analysis results were utilized to analyze the results of Demand Forecasting and Economic Impact for the FISM to be hosted in Busan. Analysis estimated the number of visitors to the FISM to be hosted in Busan from the minimum of 208,060 to maximum of 362,430 when it comes to the Demand Forecasting. Demand Forecasting estimated the number of visitors willing to watch from the minimum of 208,060 to maximum of 362,430, targeting Busan residents, tourists, FISM personnel and people who pre-registered. Total spending was estimated from the minimum of 29.4 Billion Won to maximum of 41.1 Billion Won. Total resulting production ripple effect ranged from the minimum of 53 Billion Won to maximum of 74.2 Billion Won. Total value add ripple effect ranged from the minimum of 21.5 Billion Won to maximum of 30.1 Billion Won. Total employment ripple effect ranged from the minimum of 488 to maximum of 683. Results of this study will serve as important back-up data for carrying out the projects to improve tourist and auxiliary facilities in Busan through estimation of visitors via Demand Forecasting and Economic Impact analysis to ensure successful hosting of the FISM, and it is expected to play its role as the base data for continual management going forth.
