본 연구는 팜므파탈의 이미지와 팜므파탈이 형성하게 된 배경을 살펴보았고, 팜므파탈이 새로운 아이콘으로서 형성되기 시작한 20세기 이후와 21세기에 대중 영상 매체 중 영화에 나타난 팜므파탈 이미지 모델들의 헤어스타일을 고찰하였다. 이를 기초자료로 두고 스타일을 연구하여 단순히 고객의 헤어스타일을 아름답게 꾸며주는 것이 목적이 아니라 다른 고객들과는 다른 차별화 된 스타일을 재창조 할 수 있는 새로운 방법으로 기여하고자 한다. 그 결과로는 첫째, 20세기의 팜므파탈 이미지 헤어스타일은 솔리드 형이 많았고, 업스타일 헤어 보다는 컷 스타일이 많았다. 둘째, 21 세기의 팜므파탈 이미지 헤어스타일 역시 솔리드 형이 대체적이었고 극 중 화제 전환에 따라 업스타일로 변화를 주었다. 이 결과를 살펴 보았을 때, 팜므파탈 이미지는 다양하게 나타나고 있지만 롱 길이의 하드한 스트레이트 헤어, 단정한 솔리드 형 컷, 굵게 세팅된 정갈한 웨이브 등이 팜므파탈 이미지를 형성하고 있었다. 이를 접목한 스타일을 연구하여 기초자료를 두고 단순히 고객의 헤어스타일을 아름답게 꾸며주는 것이 목적이 아니라 다른 고객들과는 다른 차별화 된 스타일을 재창조 할 수 있는 새로운 방법으로 기여되길 바라며 더 나아가 미용 산업과 교육에도 도움이 되길 기대한다.
