본 연구는 부모학대와 청소년의 사이버비행 간 관계에서 사회적 위축과 우울의 순차적 매개효과를 검증함으로써 부모학대가 어떠한 심리·사회적 기제를 통해 사이버비행을 유발하는지 구체적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 부모학대는 사회적 위축과 우울에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 사회적 위축은 우울에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모학대와 청소년의 사이버비행 간 관계에서 사회적 위축과 우울의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 Bootstrapping을 실시한 결과, 부모학대가 사이버비행에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부모학대와 사이버비행 간 관계에서 사회적 위축과 우울의 총 간접효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개별 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 부모학대와 사이버비행 간 관계에서 사회적 위축의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 반면, 이들 간 관계에서 우울은 유의미한 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 부모학대와 사이버비행 간 관계에서 사회적 위축과 우울의 순차적 매개효과가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 부모학대경험이 청소년의 사회적 위축과 우울을 매개로 사이버비행을 유의하게 증가시킨다는 구조적 관계를 구체적으로 제시하였다는 점에 의의가 있다. 특히 본 연구에서는 사이버비행을 가져올 수 있는 청소년의 가정환경요인 뿐만 아니라 개인 내적인 심리·사회적 변인을 보다 통합적으로 확인함으로써 교육과 상담 장면에서 교육적·치료적으로 활용될 경험적 근거를 마련하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

This study verified the mediating effect of social withdrawal and depression in the relationship between parent abuse and cyber delinquency of adolescence. This study examined whether parental abuse experience causes cyber delinquency through psychological and social mechanism. The results of the analysis are as follows, First, parental abuse experience had the positive effect on social withdrawal and depression, and social withdrawal effect on depression positively. Second, parental abuse experience did not directly effect cyber delinquency in this study. Also, parental abuse experience did not directly effect cyber delinquency through the mediating effect of social withdrawal. On the other hand, parental abuse experience had a direct effect on cyber delinquency through the mediating effect of depression. Third, the result of this study shows that parental abuse experience leaded to social withdrawal of adolescence, which increases the level of depression and eventually leaded to cyber delinquency of adolescence. This study is meaningful in that it specifically suggested the structural relationship between parent abuse experience and cyber delinquency through the mediating effect of social withdrawal and depression of adolescents. In particular, this study is meaningful in that it provided an empirical basis for educational and therapeutic utilization in the field of education and counseling by comprehensively confirming psychological and social variables within individuals as well as family environment factors of adolescents who can bring cyber delinquency.
