The purpose of the entrance examination is to select promising and potential students who could understand each curriculum in the university. Therefore, each university focuses on researching and developing the entrance examination system for recruiting talented students. Likewise, the entrance examination of Korea military Academy is not only important, but also more significant in terms of selecting potential officers for the future. Furthermore, the selection system adds to an interview and physical strength test in order to evaluate the volunteer’s character and aptitude.
It is clear that the unique system closely correlates with prominent officer for the future. In this regard, this study analyzes the correlation between the academic achievement of cadets and the entrance policy factors that could verify predictive reliability for admission factors such as former grade point average, high school’s academic achievements, aptitude test battery for cadets, English test, interview and physical strength test. Finally, it provides the significant implications in terms of useful tools for the entrance policy in Korea military Academy.
