본 연구는 부모의 비일관적 양육방식이 아동의 삶의 만족감에 미치는 영향과 또래애착의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 구조방정식을 이용하여 검증하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 한국아동청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 초1 패널 7차년도 자료를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 비일관적 양육방식은 아동의 또래애착과 삶의 만족감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 또래애착은 비일관적 양육이 아동의 삶의 만족에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 아동과 부모를 위한 프로그램과 교육에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 마련할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study were to examine the influence of the inconsistent parenting of children on their life satisfaction and the mediation effects of peer attachment utilizing structural equation modeling. The subjects of this study are elementary 1st grade panel data of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Study (KCYPS), Wave 7. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the inconsistent parenting attitudes of the children exerted a direct influence on their peer attachmen and life satisfaction. Second, peer attachment of the children produce a mediation effect when their inconsistent parenting attitude affected life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the educational, counselling and policy implications was suggested.
