In this study, Reactive surfactant have been synthesized using synthesis of polyoxyethylene(10) oleyl ether(POE(10)), polyoxyethylene(20) oleyl ether (POE(20)) which is nonionic surfactant and methacrylic acid. Benzene was used as the solvent, p-tsOH was used as the catalyst. The synthesized surfactant was confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR spectra. The measured critical micelle concentration(c.m.c) was 1.29×10-4 mol/L and surface tension at c.m.c was 35.0 dyne/cm for POE(10)-MA and 8.2×10-5 mol/L, 40.2 dyne/cm for POE(20)-MA. HLB number was evaluated 9.1 for POE(10)-MA and 18.6 for POE(20)-MA, which is expected to be used as wetting agent and solubilizing agent. Evaluation of physical properties was measured surface tension, HLB, critical micelle concentration, foam power & stability.
