본고는 어휘부와 국어음운론의 접면이라 할 수 있는 기저형 및 복수 기저형의 설정 문제와 활용형, 곡용형의 등재 문제를 다루고 있다. 논의 내용은 다음과 같다. 우선, 기저형을 이루고 있는 분절음은 음운이어야 한다는 점을 논의하였다. 다음으로, 복수 기저형과 이를 통한 도출 과정을 소개하고, 통시론적 현상을 통해 그 설정의 타당성을 검토하였으며, 복수 기저형의 선택 조건이 형태음운론적일 수는 있지만 특정한 형태소에 대한 정보를 포함할 수 없다는 점을 확인하였다. 끝으로, 형태 분석이 불가능한 곡용형과 활용형은 어휘부에 등재하되, 관련 어간 또는 어미의 어휘소에 종속되어 있는 등재소이어야 함을 논의하였다. 또한 논의의 중요한 문제에 대해 많은 부분이 공시론적 기술 태도에 의해 결정됨을 알 수 있었다.

This paper discusses the issues around the interface of lexicon and Korean phonology, especially issues about underlying forms themselves, multiple underlying forms and listing of conjugated forms as listems. Then it finds some conclusions. First, segments which constutite the underlying form should be phonemes, which can be recognized by language users. Second, selection conditions of single/multiple underlying forms can be morphophonological but should not include any uncategorizable informations about idiosyncratic morphemes. Third, conjugated forms unanalyzable synchronically can be listed only as listemes subordinated to lexemes of the stem or ending participated in that conjugated form.
