본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 분위기와 맞물려 사회 전반적으로 확산되고 있는 ‘유아코딩’에 대한 사회적 인식을 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구데이터는 ‘유아코딩’에 대한 네이버 연관검색어를 수집하였다. 수집된 344개의 연관검색어의 구조적 관계를 알아보기 위해 연결망 도구를 통해 시각화하였다. 연결망의 가시성을 높이기 위해서 핵심 연관검색어 29개를 선정하고 시각화하여 ‘유아코딩’에 대한 사회적 인식을 다음과 같이 4가지 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, ‘유아코딩’에 대해 코딩학습과 학원에 관심이 많다. 둘째, 코딩학원 수요와 맞물려 강사 직업에도 관심이 많은 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 코딩학습과 연계된 실습형 교구에도 관심이 많았다. 마지막으로, ‘유아코딩’의 연장선상에서 창작교구에도 사람들은 관심을 가지고 있었다. 이 연구는 사람들의 관심사를 가시적으로 보여 주었다는 점과 다양한 분야에서 사회적 관심을 연구할 수 있는 분석틀을 제공했다는데 그 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to know the social perception of the interest in 'Young children’s coding' that has been spreading throughout the society in conjunction with the atmosphere of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The research data, related words of the 'Young children’s coding', were collected from Naver portal site. In order to examine the structural relationships of the collected 344 related words, the network tools were used for visualizing. I selected and visualized 29 core related words again to increase the visibility of the network, and could reach four conclusions as follows. First, people are interested in coding learning and academies. Second, in line with the demand of coding academies, there is a lot of interest in instructor occupations. Third, there was lots of interests in instruments, coupled with the circumstance of coding learning. Finally, people were also interested in creative instruments as an extension of ‘Young children’s coding.' This study is meaningful in that it showed people's interests visually and provided an analysis framework applicable to various fields.
