본 연구는 고등학교 남학생의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 한다. 학교유형별로 고등학교 남학생의 학교행복감, 사회적지지, 자아존중감 및 정신건강을 비교·분석한 서술적 조사연구이다. B시 일반계고등학교 1개교와 특성화고등학교 1개교의 고등학교 2학년 남학생을 편의추출하였다. 학교유형별 학교행복감, 사회적지지, 자아존중감 및 정신건강 정도는 평균과 표준편차, 차이는 독립표본 t-test와 일원배치 분산분석, 상관관계는 피어슨 상관관계로 분석하였다. 일반계고등학교의 정신건강은 학교행복감과 관련성이 가장 크고 사회적지지와 자아존중감과도 양의 상관관계가 나타났다. 특성화고등학교는 정신건강은 사회적지지가 관련성이 가장 크고 학교행복감과 상관관계가 나타났다. 따라서 고등학교 남학생들의 정신건강 증진을 위해서 학교현장에서 사회적지지를 높일 수 있는 실효성 있는 간호중재 프로그램으로 개발을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the mental health of high school boys. This is a descriptive research that compares and analyzes school happiness, social support, self-esteem, and mental health by school type. A male high school second grader at one B high school and one specialized high school was extracted. School happiness, social support, self-esteem, and mental health by school type were analyzed by mean and standard deviation, difference by independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation by Pearson correlation. Mental health of general high school was the most related to school happiness and positively correlated with social support and self-esteem. In specialized high school, mental health was the most related to social support and correlated with school happiness. Therefore, in order to promote mental health of high school boys, we propose the development of effective nursing intervention programs that can increase social support at school sites.
