The purpose of this study was to analyze conflict of information processing as a function of motor task experience and index of difficulty. Eighty students(males) in middle school participated as volunteer subjects in the experiment.
The experimental design was three factor mixed design with repeated measure. Independent variables was motor task experience and index of difficulty and Dependent variables was absolute error of timing. The results of this study were as follows:
The first, there was significant difference on the absolute error of timing between groups as a function of motor task experience.
The second, A significant main effect was not found for index of difficulty conditions.
The third, No significant motor task experience X index of difficulty interaction effect was found for the absolute error of timing. In conclusion, When two conflicting sources of information are available, the learner` task experience influences his selection of feedback information to guide performance without index of difficulty.
