The purpose of this study was to present positive data which can help to enhance sport-performance by examining the relation of achievement goal orientation and physical self-efficacy. The subjects were composed 95 bowling athletics and 98 persons registred at community-based club. Questionaries used in this study was made by Duda and Nicholls(1988) to measure achievement-goal orientation. Also, this study used questionaries revised by Hong, Sun-Ok to measure physical-self efficacy. Data analyses were derived through the use of Statistical Package for Social Science(SPSS 10. 0). The following results are based upon the findings of this study: Firstly, In achievement goal orientation difference according to group and event, there were significant differences in both ego-goal orientation and task-goal orientation. Also, In achievement goal orientation difference according to level, there were significant differences in both ego-goal orientation and task-goal orientation. Secondly, In physical self-efficacy difference according to sex and level, there were significant differences in both perceived -physical ability and physical-self presentation confidence. Thirdly, the relationship between achievement goal orientation and physical self-efficacy difference, the physical self-efficacy difference was closely related to achievement goal orientation and research model established in this study was validity.
