연구배경 오늘날 막걸리는 한국 전통에 술에서 세계적인 술로 도약하기 위해서는 막걸리 특성에 맞는 용기를 개발하여야 한다. 막걸리는 흔들어 먹는 특성이 있어서 그에 부합되는 혼합이 용이한 용기를 개발하여 소비자들이 막걸리 한층 더 유용하게 드실 수 있게 해야 한다. 또한, 더 많은 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 막걸리 용기에 취약했던 미끄러움 방지 패턴구조와 패턴 형태의 균형적 조화로 상품성을 한층 더 강화하여야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 PET 소재 막걸리 용기의 기초적인 시장조사를 통하여, 사용되고 있는 용기를 분석한 데이터와 새로운 컨셉을 바탕으로 막걸리 용기 몸통 패턴구조를 새롭게 개발하고자 한다. 연구방법 막걸리 용기에 대한 고찰과 전국 사용실태 조사의 기초단계와 막걸리 용기 몸통 패턴구조 분석에 따른 신제품 개발의 연구개발 단계 및 실험에 의한 평가와 시제품 제작의 완성 단계로 연구가 이루어진다. 연구결과 막걸리 특성에 맞게 혼합성이 용이한 용기 몸통 패턴구조를 개발하고, 또한, 미끄러지지 않는 패턴구조와 용기 고급화에 따른 새로운 패턴 형태 개발과 함께 마지막으로 혼합성 실험을 통한 평가 결과를 도출하여 연구성과를 검증하고자 한다. 결론 이 연구를 통하여, 소비자들이 막걸리를 마실 때 혼합성이 용이한 패턴구조를 사용하게 함으로써 막걸리특성과 기능성을 극대화해 소비자 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 새로운 시장 점유율 및 막걸리 시장의 변화에 이바지하는 제품으로 개발하여 매출 신장에 기여하고자 한다.

Background It is necessary to develop a container which matches characteristics of makgeolli so that makgeolli can jump up to be world class alcoholic beverage. Most people drink makgeolli with it shaken and thus it is advisable to develop a container that matches such characteristics so that people can drink it easily. It is recommended that makgeolli should have a balance between slip-resistant pattern structure and shape so that makgeolli can be more competitive. This study aims to develop makgeolli container pattern structure based on data collected from analysis of containers in use and a new concept through basic market research on PET container for makgeolli. Methods This study examines makgeolli containers and the use of makgeolli containers all over the country and analyzes makgeolli container body pattern structure and evaluates by experiment and produces prototype in order to develop makgeolli container pattern structure. Result This study intends to verify results by developing container body pattern structure which matches characteristics of makgeolli and new pattern shape according to slip-resistant pattern structure container improvement and drawing evaluation result based on experiment. Conclusion This study aims to contribute to a rise in sales of makgeolli and maximize characteristics and functionality of makgeolli and raise market share and satisfy consumers’ need by inducing consumers to use pattern structure which makes makgeolli easy to be mixed when consumers drink makgeolli.
