이 연구는 효과적인 일본어 음성교육에 대한 연구이다. 유튜브를 비롯한 인터넷 포털사이트를 통해 공개된 일본 드라마, 일본 애니메이션 등의 다양한 디지털 미디어 콘텐츠를 활용하여 일본어 발음 능력과 올바른 일본어 표현 능력을 배양할 수 있는 교수-학습 방법 개발에 관한 연구로서 필자의 수업사례를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 필자의 수업에서 활용한 교수-학습 방법으로는 영화제작시에 영상에 음성이나 효과음을 넣은 After Recording 방법과 Prosody Shadowing이며, 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) After Recording 프로젝트를 도입한 수업 후에 학생 자신에 대한 평가에서 일본어 발음 능력과 청해 능력은 상당히 향상되었으며 회화 능력도 향상되었다고 평가했다. (2) 일본 드라마는 일본어 학습자뿐만 아니라 많은 사람들이 즐기는 미디어 콘텐츠이므로 흥미를 유발시키며, 드라마 속의 다양한 캐릭터들의 회화를 연습할 수 있으므로 학습자는 흥미와 강한 동기를 갖고 학습을 할 수 있다. (3) 일본어교육에서도 shadowing이 발음 및 이해능력 향상에 도움이 된다는 연구 결과가 다수 발표되고 있는 상황에서, 드라마, 애니메이션 등 흥미로운 미디어 콘텐츠를 활용한 shadowing 방법이 효과가 있음이 입증되었다. (4) 학습자가 선택한 영상과 더불어 배우의 일본어 대사를 듣고 바로 따라하므로 초급일본어 학습자라도 일본어 발음이나 음성을 통한 감정 표현을 익힐 수 있으며, 학습자 중심의 학습이 가능하다. (5) After Recording은 학생들의 디지털 미디어 리터러시 교육에도 활용할 수 있다.

This research is a study of effective Japanese vocal education using various digital media contents, such as Japanese dramas or animations on the internet. The methods used in the author's class are the “After recording method” and “Prosody Shadowing”, and the results of the research are summarized as follows. (1) After attending a class that used the “After Recording Method”, students felt that their Japanese pronunciation, listening and conversational abilities were greatly improved. (2) With many studies showing that shadowing improves Japanese levels, the shadowing method using media contents such as dramas and animations has proven to be effective. (3) Students can also learn how to express their feelings through the actor’s lines, which makes learner-oriented learning possible. (4) The “After Recording Method” is suitable for learners in environments like JFL(Japanese as a Foreign Language) programs. (5) The “After Recording Method” can also be used for education of digital media literacy for students.
