본 연구는 조부모의 손자녀 양육참여와 관련된 국내 선행연구의 동향을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 앞으로의 연구방향 설정에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 2008년부터 2018년까지의 KCI 등재 및 등재 후보 학술지에 게재된 232편의 연구 논문을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구분야 별 동향을 살펴보면 사회복지학 분야 연구 논문이 편수가 가장 많았으며, 청소년학 분야에서 저조함을 보였다. 둘째, 연구대상 별 동향을 살펴보면, 조부모와 조모를 대상으로 한 논문의 편수가 가장 많았으며, 조부를 대상으로 한 연구는 1편에 불과했다. 셋째, 연구유형 별 동향을 살펴보면, 양적 연구가 60% 이상의 높은 비율을 보였으며, 그 다음으로는 질적 연구 그리고 문헌 연구, 혼합 연구 순이였다. 넷째, 연구주제 별 동향을 살펴보면 건강 관련영역, 양육 관련 영역 순으로 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 프로그램 관련 영역은 가장 낮은 빈도로 나타났다. 본 연구는 조부모와 손자녀 그리고 중간세대인 부모 등을 포함한 조부모의 손자녀 양육 관련 연구를 폭넓게 분석해 봄으로써 전체적인 연구의 흐름과 방향을 파악할 수 있었고 이로써 이 분야의 연구가 앞으로 나아갈 방향을 제시할 수 있었다.

This study analyzed the trends of domestic preceding studies related to grandparents' participation in raising their grandchildren. Through this process, we are going to provide the necessary basic data for setting future research directions. This study conducted an analysis on 232 research papers published in the journal Candidate for KPI Registration and Registration from 2008 to 2018, and the results are as follows. First, if you look at the trends in the field of research, the research papers in the field of social welfare were the most frequent, and showed a low level in the field of youth studies. Second, looking at the trends for the each study, there was the largest number of papers for grandparents and grandmother, and only one for grandfather. Third, looking at research each type of trends, quantitative studies showed a high rate of over 60%, followed by qualitative studies, literature studies, and mixed studies. Fourth, the each of study subject trends showed high frequency in order of health-related, child-rearing areas, and the program-related areas showed the lowest frequency. This study is expected to help expand and deepen studies on grandparents and grandchildren, including grandparents, grandchildren and middle-aged parents.
