본 연구에서는 아동의 특성, 부모의 특성, 교사의 특성이 초등학교 1학년 아동의 학교적응에 어 떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 (Panel Study on Korean Children) 5, 8차년 종단 자료 중 402개 가구를 사용하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 아동의 특성, 부모의 특성, 교사의 특성을 독립변인으로, 학교적응을 종속변인으로 투입하고 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 성별은 전반적인 아동의 학교적응과 학교적응의 하위 요인인 학교생활, 학업수행, 또래적응에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 아동의 친구 수는 또래적응과 교사적응에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 모의 학력은 아동의 학교생활에, 모의 통제적 양육행동은 또래적응과 전반적인 학교적응에 그리고 부의 통제적 양육행동은 교사적응에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 연령은 학업수행을 제외하고, 학교적응 전반에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 아동의 성별, 친구의 수, 모의 통제적 양육행동, 부의 통제적 양육행동, 교사의 연령이 아동의 학교적응에 중요한 요인이라는 것을 밝혔다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of characteristics of children, parent, and teacher on the school adjustment first grade elementary school student. For this study, 402 households were used in the 5th, 8th year data of the Panel Study on Korean Children. This study conducted the multiple regression analysis with the children, parents and teachers characteristics as independent variables and school adaptation as dependent variable. The results of this study are as follows. First, the children`s gender affected the overall school adjustment and sub-factors of school adjustment: school life, academic performance and peer adaptation. Also, the number of children's friends influenced peer adaptation and teacher adaptation. Second, the mother`s educational level affected the children`s school life. The mother`s control rearing attitudes affected the children`s peer adaptation and overall school adjustment. And, the father`s control rearing attitudes positively affected the children`s teacher adaptation. Third, the teachers' age positively effected on overall school adaptation, except for children`s academic performance. In conclusion, this study revealed that the children`s gender, the number of children`s friends, the mother`s control rearing attitudes, the father`s control rearing attitudes, and teacher's age are important factors for children's school adjustment.
