안나회는 풍수원 성당의 오래된 단체로 지금도 유지되고 있으며, 신자들은 안나회에 대하여 기도 생활과 시간 생활, 그리고 공동체 생활을 하였던 ‘동정녀들의 모임’이라고 이야기하고 있다. 당시 안나회 회원들은 제의방 및 제대 관리 그리고 본당신부의 공소 방문시 복사의 역할 등을 담당하였으며, 현재의 안나회 회원들은 그들의 기억 속에서 공동체 생활을 하였던 동정녀들의 모임이자 일종의 수도단체로 인지하였던 안나회에 대해서 강한 자부심을 가지고 있다. 풍수원성당에는 안나회에 대한 기록으로 「안나회원인명부」와 「허원문답」이 남아있다. 「안나회원인명부」와 「허원문답」은 안나회의 설립자 및 설립 이유, 회원들의 인적 구성, 안나회원들의 규칙 그리고 안나회의 성격을 규명할 수 있는 자료로, 안나회라는 단체의 역사 뿐만 아니라 풍수원성당 역사에서 안나회가 지니는 의미, 그리고 지역 천주교사의 입장에서도 의미가 있는 자료라고 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 「안나회원인명부」와 「허원문답」에 보이는 안나회의 설립과 인적구성 그리고 그들의 규칙을 토대로 하여 안나회에 대한 사실적인 접근에 주목하였다. 인명부를 통해서 알 수 있는 안나회의 회원은 총 109명이며 이들의 나이는 다양하게 분포되어 있다. 안나회를 풍수원 성당의 신자들은 동정녀들의 모임이었고, 수도생활을 하는 것으로 기억한다. 하지만 「안나회원인명부」의 내용을 통해서 볼 때 안나회는 동정녀들의 모임이나 수도생활을 하는 단체라기 보다는 풍수원 성당에서 활동했던 여성들의 모임으로, 기혼·미혼·과부 등이 혼재되어 있었던 것으로 보인다. 물론, 초기에는 수도생활을 지향하는 동정녀들의 모임이었으나 다양한 연령층이 가입하기 시작하는 1925년부터 그 성격이 변화되었을 가능성도 있다. 안나회에 속한 이들 중에는 혈연관계로 맺어진 이들도 있으며, 다양한 본적지와 출생지가 등장한다. 안나회원들의 다양한 본적지와 출생지는 인명부와 풍수원 성당의 세례대장 및 혼배대장의 교차 확인 작업이 이루어진다면 인적교류에 대한 분석이 이루어지지 않을까 싶으며 이는 향후 연구과제로 삼는다.
