Infantile psoriasis can be seen in first year of life characterized by raised, well-defined, erythematous skin lesions of varying size that are surmounted by a silvery-white scale, localized to scalp, lower lumbosacral, buttocks, and genital involvement. Pediatric psoriasis can be divided into 3 age group, congenital psoriasis, infantile psoriasis, childhood psoriasis. While, childhood psoriasis is fairly common and a well-recognized entity, infantile psoriasis is rare and has been questioned by many dermatologists and pediatricians. Farber et al., reported 14 infantile psoriasis patients showing pruritic, mild scaly, nail pitting features. Since the existence of psoriasis during infancy can no longer be disregarded, infantile psoriasis must be considered in the differential diagnosis along with seborrheic dermatitis, diaper dermatitis. We report a rare case of plaque-type psoriasis on both flank.
