This paper’s aim is to articulate an ideas and methodology of Wang Yang-Ming’s Enlightenment in contrast with Idea of western classical Philosophy based upon Plato’s Smile of Cave. The ideas and methodology of classical philosophy is manifested : 1) philosophical thinking begins with criticism of everybody’s everyday-consciousness, 2) philosophical thinking(attitude) requirement radical attitude-transformation of everyday-consciousness, 3) philosophical thinking is necessary to get absolute knowledge of the ultimate, 4) genuine philosopher enlightenments the people with absolute knowledge of the ultimate. Confucius and Mencius’ Confucianism as idea of self-realization was succeed and reestablished by Wang Yang-Ming. Wang Yang-Ming’s Enlightenment in Lungchang is typical of an ideas and methodology of Confucian Philosophy. Wang Yang-Ming’s Enlightenment in Lungchang begins with radical criticism of Chu Hsi’s Epistemology. He turns to the internal mind from external principle(attitude-transformation). and Wang Yang-Ming achivements absolute Enlightenment of the ultimate. finally, He enlightenments the people with absolute Enlightenment. Wang Yang-Ming’s Enlightenment & self-realization are similar to modern phenomenology in a way of which they both speak about the substance and the function of mind. We try to interpretate Wang Yang-Ming’s Enlightenment & self-realization by the methodology of a transcendental phenomenology.
