이 글의 목적은 안길남 선생이 펴낸 ≪낙동강 하류 가락 지역어 조사연구≫(2005)를 소개하고 그 특징을 기술하는 것이다. 이를 위해 책의 편찬 과정과 구성을 살펴보고, 이 책에 수록된 방언형의 특성을 검토해 보았다. 그 결과 ≪낙동강 하류 가락 지역어 조사연구≫는 방언 연구서와 방언 자료집의 성격을 겸하고 있으며, 이 책에 수록된 방언형에서 다양한 측면의 김해 가락 지역어의 특성이 드러남을 확인할 수 있었다.

This review aims to introduce A Research and Study of Garak Dialect on Lower Reach of Nakdong River(edited by Kilnam An) which is published in 2005. The character of this book can be seen through the review of the compilation process and composition of book. This book has not only the character of a Garak dialect dictionary but also the character of a study on Garak dialect. And this book shows various aspects of Garak dialect.
