Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze into the continuous conservation-cause & background of the supplemented Ganghwa-Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty’s Tripitaka at the Haein-Temple. Until now, the Haein-Temple has been preserved the Ganghwa-Capital-Woodblock Goryeo-Dynasty’s Tripitaka that have made-up about a middle of the 13th century. The conservation-background was possible because of the technical competency of the mid-13th century, scientific conservation-technology of the individual woodblock-plates, a policy & effort of the national conservation. In particular, the Ganghwa-Capital-Woodblock Goryeo- Dynasty’s Tripitaka could be preserved with the support policy of the Goryeo-Dynasty’s Daejangdogam(高麗國大藏都監), could be preserved in active support of the King Sejong(世宗) & the King Sejo(世祖) & the King Seongjong(成宗).
