The purpose of this study was to describe middle school physical education teachers' perceptions and experiences related to Fitness Model. Participants in this study were physical education teachers (one male and one female) from a secondary school in Korea. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed and interpreted through constant comparative method and analytic induction method. The findings in this study indicated that the physical education teachers had hard times to be a curriculum developer. From initiation ,implementation, and continuation, they had many problems with colleagues, students, and facilities. The result of this study suggested that for successful curriculum reform, the physical education teachers should be changed positively, and teacher education programs should help physical education teachers should be changed positively. The facility and learning environment in the school should be changed and diverse programs should be offered by physical education teacher educators. In addition, teachers, students, and educational institutions should give practical supports for the physical education teachers. We need more studies related to diverse curriculum models for the prospective physical education teachers.
