This study investigated the changes of blood metabolites, hormone, and cytokines concentration between before and after dancesports program of 10 weeks, and the effects of acute dancesports on these changes. This investigation can be used to suggest the theoretical basis for effective prevention and administration of obesity with dancesports. Subjects were consisted of 20-aged female students(n=12), and were divided to obese(n=6) and normal weight group(n=6). For the analysis of metabolic response, blood metabolites(glucose, FFA), hormone(insulin, cortisol, growth hormone), and cytokines(leptin, TNF-α, IL-6) were measured in venous blood sample.
Blood concentration of glucose, and FFA were no significant differnce after 10 weeks dancesports program, so hypothesis related to these variables ccould not accepted. Obese group showed a lower insulin sensitivity than normal weight group, because obese group showed a higher resting and fasting values of blood insulin concentration And obese group showed an improvement of insulin sensitivity after 10 weeks dancesports program, as resting and fasting values of blood insulin concentration were decreased. Critical results on the changes of blood concentration of hormone and cytokines except blood insulin concentration could not be suggested. The relationship among the change of body fat, blood insulin and leptin concentration after 10 weeks dancesports program could be accepted, but it could not be found the relationship among the changes of other variables. In these results, dancesports program could be suggested the effective exercise program for obesity treatment, but the additional detail analysis on the change of blood cytokines and metabolite was demanded for the development of obesity treatment method with dancesports.
