유치원교사양성에서 예비유치원교사가 적절한 직업자기이미지를 형성하는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 유아교육과 신입생들이 가지고 있는 유치원교사라는 직업에 대한 직업자기이미지를 알아보고자 하는 것이었다. 연구목적에 의해 2018학년도와 2019학년도 신입생 80명을 대상으로 그림그리기를 사용하였고, 수집된 자료는 내용분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 유아교육과 신입생들이 가지고 있는 직업자기이미지는 모습, 역할, 자질, 능력으로 분류되었다. 첫째, 모습은 밝게 웃는 얼굴, 명랑하고 즐거운 모습으로 나타났다. 둘째, 역할은 돌봄, 가르침, 상호작용, 지원과 안내로 나타났다. 셋째, 자질은 유아에 대한 사랑, 헌신, 체력과 건강으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 능력은 다재다능하며 유능한 능력을 갖춘 교사 이미지를 나타났다. 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 예비유치원교사들의 직업정체성 확립 지원, 사회적 기대와 전문성 있는 교사역할에 대한 명확한 관점 형성 지원, 유치원관리자 교육이 필요함을 제안하였다.

Proper vocational self-image is important thing for teacher education. This study was The purpose of this study was examining the vocational self-image by first student in the department of early childhood education. The subjects were 80 first student in the department of early childhood education. The instrument used for the study DrawingA- Kindergarten- Teacher-Test. The data were collected by drawing metaphors and then analyzed by content analysis. The vocational self-images of preschool teacher that freshmen in the department of child education have were found as follows: 1) to have beautiful and bright smiles, to be happy with children 2) to play roles of caring, teaching, interacting, supporting, and guiding, 3) to have adoration of child, devotion, strength and physical health, and 4) to be skillful and competent. Based on this results, the suggestion were the need of support positive kindergarten teachers’ image through pre-service education.
