이 연구의 목적은 육상 전공실기 교수의 수업전문성 형성과 유형을 총체적으로 분석하는데 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 위하여 10년 이상의 육상선수 경력과 수업 경력을 가지고 있는 육상 전공실기 교수 4명을 대상으로 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 심층면담과 문서자료를 통해 수집한 자료는 영역분석과 분류분석을 수행하였다. 자료의 수집 및 분석과정에서 연구의 진실성과 윤리성을 확인하였다. 이 연구에서 수집된 자료를 분석 및 해석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 육상 전공실기 교수의 수업전문성은 경험과 교육, 자기개발을 통해 형성된다. 둘째, 육상 전공실기 교수의 수업전문성에는 수업내용지식, 수업방법지식, 학생의 이해 및 소통이 있다. 수업내용지식에는 육상전문지식과 체육학전문지식이 있다. 수업방법지식에는 수준별지도, 다양한 매체활용, 전달방법의 다양성이 있다. 학생 이해 및 소통에는 인지적 이해 및 공감적 이해, 질적 소통 및 양적 소통이 있다.

The purpose of this study is to holistically analyze the formation and types of teaching professionalism in practice professors of athletics major. For this purpose, this study conducted qualitative research on 4 practice professors of athletics major with more than 10 years of athletic and teaching career. Domain analysis and classification analysis were conducted on data collected from in-depth interviews and document materials. In collecting and analyzing process, veracity and ethicality were confirmed. The results of analysis and interpretation of data in this study are as follows; first, teaching professionalism in practice professors of athletics major is formed by experience, education and self-development; second, teaching professionalism of practice professors of athletics major is composed of knowledge on course contents, knowledge on teaching methods and understanding of and communication with students. Knowledge on course contents is composed of professional knowledge on athletics and professional knowledge on physical education and knowledge on teaching methods is composed of level-based teaching, utilization of various media while understanding of and communication with students consist of perceptive understanding, sympathetic understanding and qualitative and quantitative communication.
