본 연구는 다문화가정 초등학생들을 대상으로 스포츠여가활동 참여와 또래관계에서 의사소통의 매개효과에 대하여 인과적 모형을 설정하여 그 관계를 검증하고 의사소통의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 2015년 전남지역 중에서 순천, 여수, 광양, 나주, 화순, 장흥 지역의 다문화가정 초등학생을 모집단으로 선정하여 2015년 11월부터 2016년 4월까지의도적 표집방법을 통해 206명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석과 AMOS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식모형분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 스포츠여가활동 참여는 의사소통에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 의사소통은 또래관계에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 스포츠여가활동 참여는 또래관계에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째 스포츠여가활동 참여와 또래관계에서 의사소통은 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 부분적으로 매개 역할을 하였다. 이러한 결과들을 종합해 볼 때, 다문화가정 초등학생들에게 스포츠여가활동 참여는 의사소통과 또래관계를 향상시킬 수 있는 수단이며, 의사소통은 여가스포츠활동 참여와 또래관계에서 중요한 매개변수 역할을 하고 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.
The study was aimed to verify the mediating effects of sports participation on communication of peer relationship based on the cause and effect model and to examine how communication worked for improving the mediation effects with the elementary school students from multicultural families. A survey was conducted of achieving the goal of the study on elementary school student from multicultural families especially living in Suncheon, Yesu, Gwangyang, Naju, Hwasun and Jangheung in Jeonnam Provinces from Nov. 2015 thru Apr. 2016 questionnaires were analyzed by intentional sampling method. For data processing SPSS 22.0. program was used for frequency analysis, explore factor analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis and AMOS 24.0 program was used for confirmative factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis and came to the following conclusion. First, sports participation affected positive influence on communication. Second, communication affected positive influence on peer relationship. Third, sports participation affected positive influence on peer relationship. Fourth, sports participation worked for a mediation role partly on communication of peer relationship at significant level. It was learned that sports participation could help the elementary school students from multicultural families improve communication and peer relationship and furthermore, communication could work for an important mediating role in sports participation and peer relationship.
