본 연구에서는 기존의 영어권에서 개발된 여가몰입척도 (Leisure Flow Scale: LFS)를 기존의 질문지 번역과 새로운 한국인들이 생각하는 요인을 통합하여 그에 따른 개념적, 통계적 절차를 거처 타당도를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 본래의 Jackson & Marsh(1996)에 의해 사용 되어진 몰입척도(Flow State Scale: FSS) 36개 문항 9개 요인(명확한 목표, 시간감각 왜곡, 자의식의 상실, 도전과 기술의 균형, 자기목적적 경험, 즉각적인 피드백, 통제감, 활동과 인식의 통합, 당면과제의 집중)과 여가활동 중에 느끼는 몰입에 대한 개방형 질문지를 통해 얻은 67개 문항을 기본으로 사용하였다. 총103개의 문항에 대한 내용 적합성 검토(content validity)를 통하여 최종적인 70개 문항을 수정 및 선별하였다. 신뢰도와 타당도 검증을 위해 선정된 대상자로는 C대학, I대학, H대학, K대학, S대학교 학생들 948명(남=504명, 여=444명)을 대상으로 조사하였다. 탐색적 요인분석결과 기존의 9개 몰입요인에서 7개의 요인(활동과 인식의 통합, 당면과제의 집중 2개 요인삭제)만 도출되었다. 이 결과는 서양의 몰입척도와 국내 여가 참여자들의 요인구조 간에 차이가 있음을 보여준다. 또한 몰입연구에 적합한 질문지 모형을 만들기 위해 각 문항의 표준화된 희귀계수의 값이 낮은 문항을 제거해 나가면서 새로운 모형을 제시한 확인적 요인분석 결과 기존의 35문항보다는 30문항을 사용한 척도가 좋은 적합도 지수를 나타내었다.

The purpose of the present study was to develop a new Korean version of the leisure flow scale by modifying the one originally proposed by Csiksentmihalyi(1975) and Jackson & Marsh, (1996). In order to reflect culture difference, this study was focused on process of translation. The data were collected from 948 university student in seoul and gyeonggi-do participating in leisure activity. Frequence analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's Alpha used SPSS 15.0 for window. confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the factor validity of this inventory with AMOS 5.0 for windows. The results were appeared as follows, the Korean version of the leisure flow scale was consisted 7 factors(clear goals, altered sense of time, loss of self-consciousness, challenge-skill balance, autotelic experience, immediate feedback, sense of control) and 35 items. After the results of confirmatory factor analysis, on the whole the index values was appeared fit(30 items). Finally, the authors suggested how to utilize this Scale and what to do in the follow-up study.
