본 연구의 목적은 빙상선수의 경기력에 영향을 미치는 심리요인을 추출하여 이들의 유목화 과정을 통하여 경기력에 영향을 미치는 심리요인의 구조를 탐색하고, 심리요인들의 상대적 중요도를 구체화 하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 경기력에 영향을 준 심리요인을 규명한 문헌조사와 115명의 빙상선수에게 개방형 설문 및 면접의 예비조사로 경기력에 영향을 미친 15종의 심리요인을 수집하여 내용분석을 실시하였다. 내용분석 결과를 바탕으로 207명의 중ㆍ고등ㆍ대학ㆍ일반 빙상선수에게 설문하여 탐색적 요인분석을 한 후 결과를 근거로 다시 242명의 중ㆍ고등ㆍ대학ㆍ일반 빙상선수를 대상으로 설문하였다. 이후 확인적 요인분석을 바탕으로 빙상 국가대표 지도자 및 일반 팀 지도자 18명을 대상으로 계층분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 빙상선수의 경기력에 영향을 미치는 10종의 심리요인을 구인별 중요도에 따라 ‘멘탈컨트롤’, ‘동기’, ‘전략적 관리’, ‘결속력’ 순으로 한 네 개의 구인으로 구조화 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to extract psychological factors that influence speed skaters' performance and to search for the structures which affect their said performance, and thus to specify the relative importance of those psychological factors. For this study, the literature that figured out the psychological factors that had affected their performance was investigated, and 15 kinds of psychological factors were collected and the content analysis was conducted via the open-standards and per-investigation for interview designed for 115 speed skaters. Based on the results of the content analysis, 207 speed skaters belonging to middle schools, junior high schools, and universities and general adult teams were asked to take part in this survey, and on a basis of the results, 242 speed skaters in those said teams were asked to fill out the questionnaire. Based on the analysis on confirmative factors, the analytic hierarchy process aiming for 18 leaders in the national team as well as general teams has been conducted. As a result, 10 kinds of psychological factors were structured into approximately 4 causes - 'mental control,' 'motive,' 'strategic management', and 'solidarity'.
