효영(曉瑩)의 『羅湖野錄』중에는, 혜일문아(慧日文雅)의 「禪本草」와 담당문준(湛堂文準)의 「炮炙論」이 기록되어 있다. 이 두 문장은 송대(宋代) 기타 문헌에 기록되어 있지 않으며 오직 『羅湖野錄』에만 보인다. 전자는 『本草』의 격식을 모방하여「선(禪) 」을 약에 비유해 선수(禪修)의 효능을 설명하고, 후자는 포제(炮製)의 방법을 모방하여 선약(禪藥)의 수련 방법과 순서만을 설명한다. 본 논문은 주로 『羅湖野錄』 이후의, '「禪本草」·「炮炙論」의 원문의 유전(流傳)과 변화 과정에 대해 고찰하였다. 「禪本草」는 명대(明代)에 『韋弦佩』, 『佛祖綱目』 중에 아직 그 완본이 존재했으나, 원중도(袁中道)가 맥락 없이 함부로 모방하고 전사하여 「禪門本草補」를 지은 이후, 『五朝小說』, 『重校說郛』 는 「禪門本草補」를 곧 잘못「禪本草」로 혼동하였다. 다행히 청대(淸代) 『禪苑蒙求拾遺』중에는 여전히 「禪本草」의 전문이 완전하게 보존되어 있다. 「炮炙論」의 부분은, 오늘날 볼 수 있는 판본으로 『羅湖野錄』·『佛祖綱目』·『韋弦佩』가 있는데, 이 셋은 내용상 변동이 없다. 또 효영(曉瑩)은 두 글을 전사하며 말미에 개인적인 평론의견을 더했는데, 이 두 글은 본초의 격식으로 선수(禪修)의 정요(精要)에 대해 설명하고 있으며, 글의 풍격이 해학적이기 때문에 반드시 계속 연달아 읽어야지만 비로소 그 중 은은히 호응하는 선사(禪思)의 맥락에 대해 이해할 수 있다. 효영(曉瑩)은 종고(宗杲)의 법을 계승하고, 종고(宗杲)는 일찍이 문준(文準)에게서 배웠기 때문에, 효영(曉瑩)의 『羅湖野錄』은 이 두 편의 산실된 글을 수록하여, 한편으로 그 학문과 법의 연원이 있으며, 또 한편으로는 송대(宋代) 선문(禪門)을 보존한 중요한 논선(論禪) 문헌이다.
The Zen Notes-"Luo Hu Ye Lu"（羅湖野錄）written by Xiao Ying, this book contains the " Chan Ben Cao "（禪本草）made by Hui Ri Wen Ya and the " Pao Zhi Lun "（炮炙論）made by Zhan Tang Wen Zhun. These two articles are not included in other documents in the Song Dynasty. They are two essays recorded in the "Luo Hu Ye Lu". The former imitates the style of " Chan Ben Cao " and uses the "Zen" metaphor to explain the efficacy of meditation. The latter imitates the method of concocting medicine, and explains the practice method and the second method of using Zen as medicine. This research focuses on revising the content of anecdotes “Chan Ben Cao” and “Pao Zhi Lun” collected in Zen Note - Luo Hu Ye Lu, and conduct textual research on the versions spread. Then discusses Xiao Ying's comments at the end of the transcript, in order to understand the literature value and creative meaning of the two articles. This two-character style is humorous and must be read in a coherent way to understand the meditation meaning of the echo. Xiao Ying inherits from Zong Gao, and Zong Gao had studied from Zhan Tang Wen Zhun . Therefore, Xiao Ying's " Luo Hu Ye Lu " contains these two essays. On the one hand, it has its own source of learning, and on the other hand, it also preserves important Zen literature for the Song Dynasty.
