본 연구는 유아에게 작은도서관의 이용을 정기적으로 실시하여 기본생활 습관에 미치는 영향을 검증하고 그 내용을 알아보는데 목적이 있다 . 연구의 대상은 서울 시내소재 어린이집 만3세 12명을 대상으로 3월에 기본생활습관의 사전검사를 실시하고, 6개월에 걸쳐 작은도서관을 이용하여 접한 기본생활습관 관련도서를 지속적으로 읽은 후 사후 검사를 실시하여, 기본생활 습관의 변화를 비교해 본 결과 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 기본생활습관의 하위항목인 예절, 질서, 절제, 절제, 청결의 모든 하위 항목에서 차이를 볼 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the impact of infants using small libraries on basic living habits. The subject of this study were 12 infants who aged 3 years old at daycare centers in Seoul in March. Conducted pre test about basic living habits and then did test again after reading books about basic living habits while they were using small libraries 6 months later. The result of this study has effects. In other words, the result has differences of all sub-categories of etiquette, order, discipline, cleanliness in basic living habits.
