이 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대 청소년들의 창의성 향상을 위한 오픈 이노베이션 디자인 프로세스(Open Innovation Design Process)의 개념과 모델 개발에 대한 것이다. 먼저 산업혁명의 일반적인 의미에 대해 살펴보고, 산업 패러다임이 어떻게 변화했는지 논의하였다. 그리고 4차 산업혁명 시대의 실질적인 사용자가 될 미래 청소년(teenager)의 특성에 대해 논의하여 관련 키워드를 도출해 보았다. 또한 그 키워드들을 오픈 이노베이션을 일으키는 동기요소 간 공통적 요인들로 분석해 보았다. 다음으로 4차 산업혁명 시대 디자인은 어떤 방향으로 발전할지 디자인 패러다임의 변화를 논의하였다. 끝으로 디자인 사용자인 청소년 대상 설문조사, 인터뷰 등을 통해 그들에게 적절한 '오픈 이노베이션 디자인 프로세스'의 개념 모델을 논의해 보았다. 이 연구의 핵심은 창의적 문제해결 방법들과 관련된 프로세스들의 개념을 재정의하고 이를 오픈 이노베이션 디자인 프로세스에 적용하였다는데 있다. 그럼으로써 이 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대, 보다 창의적으로 청소년들이 복잡하고 다양한 디자인적 문제를 해결하도록 오픈 이노베이션 디자인 프로세스 모델을 논의했다는 데에 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to develop the concept and model of the Open Innovation Design Process to improve the creativity of youth in the 4th Industrial Revolution era. First we looked at the general meaning of the industrial revolution and discussed how the industrial paradigm changed. I also discussed the characteristics of future teenagers who will be practical users in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and derived relevant keywords. In addition, we analyzed the keywords by common factors among motivators that cause open innovation. Next, the design paradigm of the 4th Industrial Revolution era was discussed in what direction the design will develop. Finally, I discussed the concept model of 'Open Innovation Design Process' appropriate for them through questionnaires and interviews of youth who are design users. Thus, this study is meaningful in that it discussed the open innovation design process model to solve the problems such as the complexity and various space utilization of young people more creatively in the fourth industrial revolution era.
