The purpose of this study is to find out how the spread of anti-national sentiment affects Korea's agricultural trade with China and Japan. For this purpose, ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model) was used to capture the characteristics of anti-national sentiment variables with cumulative effects. As a result of empirical analysis, the anti-national sentiment has been shown to play a role as a impediment to agricultural trade. More specifically, at the rate of reaction of the anti-national sentiment leading to a reduction in consumption of agricultural products imported from Korea, the reaction rate of Japan was analyzed to be faster than that of China. Furthermore, it was analyzed that the decrease in consumption of Chinese agricultural products due to anti-Chinese sentiment is much larger than that of Japanese agricultural products due to anti-Japanese sentiment in Korea.
