본 연구는 방한 20대 중국 여성 개별 관광객을 대상으로 중요도-성취도분석(IPA)을 활용해 이들의 서울 맛집 선택속성의 중요도와 만족도를 분석하고, 추가적으로 이들 관광객을 한국 방문 횟수(첫 방문 vs 재방문)에 따라 맛집 선택속성의 중요도와 만족도에 어떠한 차이점이 있는지 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 맛집 선택 속성의 중요도는 집기비품의 청결성, 식당의 청결성, 음식의 질, 음식의 맛, 화장실 청결성 순서로 높게 나타난 반면, 맛집 만족도에서는 종업원의 단정한 용모와 복장, 음식의 질, 식당의 청결성, 음식의 맛, 식당의 전반적인 분위기 등이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 전체 표본의 IPA에서는 중점개선 사항으로 식당평판이 나타났다. 마지막으로 응답자들을 방문횟수로 나눠 분석한 결과, 한국을 처음 방문한 그룹의 경우는 중점개선사항으로 집기비품의 청결성이, 재방문한 그룹의 경우는 식당평판이 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과의 학문적, 실무적 시사점과 향후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

Using importance-performance analysis(IPA), this study analyzed what selection attributes Chinese women FITs(Foreign Independent Travelers) in their 20s considered in choosing good food restaurants and how much the restaurants provided them with those attributes. Furthermore, based on the number of visits to South Korea(first visit vs revisit), this study analyzed the differences in importance and satisfaction mean of selection attributes between the two groups. The results of the study showed that the cleanliness of meal utensils, restaurant cleanliness, food quality, taste, and toilet cleanliness were high in the importance mean of selection attributes while the appearance of employees, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and food taste, and overall atmosphere of restaurant were high in the satisfaction mean. IPA showed that restaurants' reputation appeared as a priority improvement for the whole samples. Lastly, when analyzing respondents based on the number of visits to Korea, in the case of the group who were visiting Korea for the first time, the cleanliness of the fixtures appeared to be the key attribute for improvement while the restaurant's reputation appeared in the case of the group who were revisiting. This study discussed the academic and practical implications of these results and future research directions.
