여행을 즐기더라도 환경피해를 최소한으로 줄이는 노력을 하며, 소비를 하더라도 여행지 주민에게 도움이 되는 방법을 모색해서 여행자와 여행지 주민 모두에게 도움이 되는 방향으로 나아가는 것이 ‘에코투어리즘’이다. 이러한 에코투어리즘을 중심으로 한국과 러시아의 관광분야 협력을 위하여 러시아의 정치적·경제적 현황에 대한 이해를 중심으로 한국과 러시아가 현재까지 어떻게 교류를 해왔으며, 그러한 교류를 바탕으로 관광분야에서는 어떠한 협력과 방안이 필요한지, 그리고 한국과 러시아의 긍정적인 관광분야 협력을 위하여 본고에서는 먼저, 에코투어리즘의 특성과 효과가 무엇인지 살펴본 다음, 관광의 관점에서 한국과 러시아의 여러 가지 현황과 현재까지의 교류내용을 살펴보고, 관광분야 협력에 있어서 한국과 러시아의 에코투어리즘이 앞으로 어떻게 전개될지 그 미래에 대하여 고찰하여보고자 한다. 그리하여, 한국과 러시아의 지속가능한 관광네트워크를 기반으로 한 생태관광 협력 방안을 자원관리 차원, 기술교류 차원, 관광객 관리 차원, 정보공유 차원, 역량강화 차원 및 문화교류 차원 등 여섯 가지 차원에서 제시하는 바이다.

Even when enjoying trips, efforts to minimize environmental damage are minimized, and consumers are willing to contribute to the travel destination. Thus, it is ‘ecotourism’ that goes towards helping travelers and indigenous people. Based on this trend, the focus is on the understanding of Russian political and economic affairs for the Cooperation of Ecology Tourism in Korea and Russia. Korea and Russia have continued to interact and cooperate and countermeasures are needed based on such exchanges. In order to explore the positive aspects of cooperation between Korea and Russia, I will first look at the characteristics and effectiveness of ecotourism. And I will explore the future of Korea and Russia in the context of tourism in Korea and Russia, and will discuss the future of Korea and Russia in ecotourism. Therefore, I will present in six dimensions, including the Way for Cooperation of Ecotourism and the Sustainable Tourism Network in Korea and Russia, at the level of resource management, the level of exchange technologies, the level of management of tourist, the level of information sharing, the level of skill complements and the level of cultural exchange.
