In the meantime, poetic blank space has been discussed in the scheme of ‘not telling-supplement’, starting from ‘not telling’ such as omission, compression, concealment, emotion repress, etc and filling this empty space by the reader. However, discussions within this category reveal the limitations of limiting margins to unprinted areas, and It is also the reason that the blank space does not stand out from the pictorial concept and stand alone as a poetic concept. In this paper, we examined the blank space generated by descriptive images. This is the blank space of ‘telling-ventilation’ created by the nature of the text that is formed of the work, and it is also the blank space created by the reader’s reception process. Descriptive image means image free from linguistic notion, unlike figurative image which has an idea in it. The reader who Confront the Descriptive image freely appreciates the poem from the meaning, and such freedom leads to the establishment of the independent poetic space of the reader. For that reason, if the margin by implication is a Poetic lull of meaning and resonance, the space of the poem made up of descriptive images is the wavelength to another image and can be called ventilation. The descriptive image is also a feature of Kim Jong-sam’s poetry. He is the most vigilant of ‘language blur’, ‘old language’, and he himself said What I want the most is a ‘new language concept’. This is the paragraph to see how he tried to escape from the language tied to the conventional meaning and to find his own poetic language. As a result, his poetry has achieved the most unique pure aesthetics in contemporary poetry, and margins are the most important aesthetic value of them.
