본 연구에서는 Farrington(2005)이 제시한 통합 인지적 반사회적 잠재력 이론에 기초하여 우리나라 비행청소년들의 반사회성 행동에 이르는 구조방정식 모형을 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 개인의 반사회성 형성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 여러 환경적 요인들이 개인의 반사회성에 이르는 경로, 반사회성이 의사결정에 이르는 경로, 의사결정이 반사회성 행동에 이르는 경로, 마지막으로 반사회성이 반사회성 행동에 이르는 경로까지 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 가정, 또래, 개인적 요인을 포함한 비행청소년들이 성장과정 시 겪을 수 있는 여러 환경적 요인들은 개인의 반사회적 성격 형성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 또한 이러한 반사회적 성격은 비행청소년들의 인지적 판단에 영향을 미치며, 마지막으로 반사회성 행동에까지 영향을 주는 것을 관찰하였다. 이러한 경로에 있어서 남자와 여자 비행청소년들 사이에서는 환경적 요인이 반사회적 성격 형성에 미치는 경로의 차이점과 전체 비행청소년들의 결과와는 다르게 남녀를 따로 보았을 시, 인지적 판단이 반사회성 행동에 영향을 미치지 않는 것도 발견하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 비행청소년들에 대한 개입 또는 지도 시, 개인의 반사회적 성격 형성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 여러 환경적 요인과 남녀 비행청소년들 간의 차이에 대해서 충분히 고려되어야 하며, 이를 토대로 비행청소년에 대한 적절한 정책 및 처우의 발전을 고대해본다.

This study aims to investigate the path of delinquency in Korean Juvenile delinquents based on the Integrated Cognitive Antisocial Potential(ICAP) theory. The path has been conducted by structural equation model. The path includes; environmental factors to antisocial characteristics, antisocial characteristics to decision making, and decision making to antisocial behaviors. The study have shown that many environmental factors that juvenile delinquents, including family and friends, may influence on conducting one’s antisocial characteristics. Also, it observed that these antisocial characteristics affect the cognitive judgments of juvenile delinquents, and finally, the path ends with antisocial behaviors. The study also examines gender differences. There was a difference in the influence of environmental factors to the antisocial characteristics. Also, both men and women juvenile delinquents have been examined that cognitive judgment is not related to antisocial behavior. Base on the results of this study, a careful consideration should be given to the various factors that may affect an individual’s antisocial personality, and the study looks forward to the development of proper policies and treatments for Korean juvenile delinquents.
