본 연구는 청소년의 피학대경험이 거부민감성과 성인지감수성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지와 청소년의 피학대경험이 거부민감성의 매개를 통하여 성인지감수성에 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 부산시에 소재한 3개 중, 고등학생 528명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 인권 관점에서의 성인지감수성을 성차별 감수성, 양성평등의식, 성폭력 감수성 등의 3가지 요인으로 측정하였고, 피학대경험은 신체적 학대, 정서적 학대, 방임, 성적 학대 등의 4가지 요인으로 구성하였으나 요인 간의 상관계수가 높아 다중공선성의 문제가 존재하여 회귀모형의 변수선택을 단계적 선택법을 적용하여 유의성이 낮은 변수인 신체적 학대와 방임 변수는 제외하였다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째 정서적 학대는 성인지감수성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하고 있으나, 성적 학대는 성차별감수성과 성폭력감수성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 정서적 학대와 성적 학대 모두 거부불안민감성, 거부분노민감성 및 거부우울민감성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 매개효과가 검증이 된 경로는 정서학대가 거부분노민감성과 거부우울민감성을 매개로 하여 성폭력감수성에 미치는 영향, 성학대가 거부분노민감성을 매개로 하여 성차별감수성과 성폭력감수성에 미치는 영향, 성학대가 거부우울민감성을 매개로 하여 양성평등의식과 성폭력감수성에 미치는 영향 등의 6가지였다. 피학대경험이 거부민감성을 매개로 하여 성폭력감수성에 미치는 영향이 유의한 경우가 많은 것으로 나타났으며 거부불안민감성의 매개효과는 검증되지 않았다. 성인지감수성의 중요성이 증대하지만 성인지감수성의 영향요인에 대한 연구는 다수 수행되었지만 학대경험과 거부민감성을 대상으로 한 연구는 거의 없었다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 끝으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
